&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Pumpkin &amp; Pork boiled dumplings&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Pork &amp; leek boiled dumplings&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Pork soup dumplings&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Homestyle cake&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thoughts - the soup dumplings were much more flavorful than the boiled style.  While the place is considered one of the top 7 Chinese style restaurants in LA, I much prefer Ding Tai Fung for my dumplings.&lt;/p&gt;

While everything tasted amazing and the flavors were so aromatic and seasoned perfectly, I preferred the sun-choke salad over all others.  The light vinaigrette perfectly accented the sun-choke’s texture and natural favors.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1 ripe tomato&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2 pieces of toast&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1/4 lb sliced turkey&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Mornay Sauce:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul class="kv-ingred-list1"&gt;&lt;li class="ingredient"&gt;2 tbs unsalted butter&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li class="ingredient"&gt;2 tbs all-purpose flour&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li class="ingredient"&gt;2.5 cups whole milk&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li class="ingredient"&gt;2 cups grated white cheddar&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li class="ingredient"&gt;1/4 cup grated Parmesan&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li class="ingredient"&gt;Pepper&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li class="ingredient"&gt;&lt;span&gt;Alder wood smoked sea salt (regular sea salt would work the same)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;Melt the butter in a pad &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;Skim off the “white skin” of the butter and disgard&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;Whisk in the flour to make a roux&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;Slowly add in both cheeses, with S&amp;P to taste&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Assembly&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Spoon small amount of sauce on the toast, followed by the warm turkey.&lt;/div&gt;

If you’ve never been to Yang Sink’s Spear St location you’re missing out. With seating up to 1000, yep I said 1000, this place does dim sum extremely well. We enjoyed the traditional dishes but were thoroughly pleased with their soup dumplings (as seen in photo).&lt;br/&gt;

Everything from taco vendors, bakeries, chinese noodle/soup counters, a great butcher counter and fresh squeezed juice.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Knowing the menu was too delicious to skimp on, my buddy and I tried four kinds of meats from &lt;em&gt;Tacos Tumbras a Tomas&lt;/em&gt;: chicken, pork, beef tacos and one goat tostada. Typically I tend to prefer pork tacos but the beef was so tender and juicy it was far &amp; above my favorite.  &lt;/p&gt;
